We have taken our old web page down for rebuilding. There have been a lot of changes!
It is our desire to communicate our ministry at the Licking County Justice Center with you. Please note these changes:
1) our former Chaplain, Mark Shoemaker, left the leadership of the LCJM at the end of 2004, after completing sixteen years as Chaplain at the LCJC. He was called to be Pastor for the Second Baptist Church in Newark. He can be reached at (740) 345-4258.
2) Our new Chaplain is Scott Hayes. Scott hails from the Spring Hills Baptist Church, and is a long-time volunteer for the LCJM. He has been involved in all aspects of ministry in our community, and is especially involved and concerned in what happens to people once they are released from incarceration. 3) The phone number for the Chaplain’s Office at the jail has changed. Scott can be reached at
