Hundreds of patterns .. the gamut of colors .. rare and experimental
pieces .. elegant cuttings, etchings and engravings. The full range
of glassware as produced by A.H. Heisey & Co. from 1896 to 1957 is
waiting for you at the National Heisey Glass Museum.
Owned and operated by Heisey Collectors of America, Inc., the museum
represents the expertise and devotion of hundreds of individuals. Two
large galleries and six rooms in the historic King House feature more
than 4,500 pieces of glassware. Molds, glassmaking tools, etching plates
and factory designs and samples are included. Displays are arranged to
encourage comparison and enhance visitor's knowledge of Heisey patterns
and colors.
The beauty of Heisey glassware is appealing to visitors of all sorts. A
visit to the National Heisey Glass Museum will be enjoyed by all and is
a must for novice collectors and experts alike.
The Museum is handicapped accessible and air-conditioned for your
comfort. Facilities include a library, media center and multi-purpose room.
Visit the Museum Shop where you will find reproductions from the
original Heisey molds and a selection of helpful books.
Hours are 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday, 1:00 to
4:00 p.m., Sunday. The museum is closed on holidays.
Admission is $2.00 for adults, children and members are admitted free.
